Day 6 - Friday Feb 6

Well, this is it, the ship is back in Miami - the cruise is over...

...but our vacation isn't. We're going to Sea World!!

But first we have to debark the ship.

First things first - we got to eat. We go up to the buffet for our final omelette and then come back to the room to finish packing and head on out. Since Norweigan is a freestyle cruise line they have freestyle debarkation, where, if you're carrying your luggage off yourself (instead of the porters) you can debark the ship at your convience anytime between 8am -10:30am. We got off the ship around 8:30ish and had no problems.


We got a shuttle to take us to Hertz in downtown Miami and we got our rental car , ahem, rental van and were on our way to Orlando by 9:30. We checked into our hotel, a Hampton Inn, a little after 2 and settled in (read: Amy disinfects the room). After being away from the internet for 6 days Stan is going through withdrawals and takes advantage of the free Wi-Fi connection and gets to work catching up on the week while Amy falls asleep - for 3 hours! After Amy waking up way past dinnertime (7pm) we head over to Downtown Disney to have dinner at the Fulton Crab House. Downtown Disney is an area of shops, restaurants and night clubs that are a separate part of Disney World. It must be hoppin' tonight because we have about a 35 minute wait for a table at the restaurant. After our bellies are full we walk through some of the Disney shops before driving back to the hotel.



Tomorrow we will go to Sea World for the first time.
